A big Buckeye thank you to all who contributed to the food drive for the Ronald McDonald House during our watch parties this season! I presented the food and personal items to Judy Schuler, Director of the Family Rooms for RMHC on December 9, 2009. Judy was extremely appreciative of our Club’s efforts and was overwhelmed with the amount of items we collected. She indicated that our items would help the families that stay at the Ronald McDonald House as well as those who use the Family Room at Children’s Hospital. According to Judy, the average usage for the Family Room at Children’s is 270 families per week. I have since received a thank you letter from Judy and one from a RMCH volunteer. Both applauded our efforts and gave their sincere thanks. The food drive wouldn’t have been a success without the enormous generosity of our club members! Keep collecting your pop can tab tops!
