Bruce Witwer and his wife Shirley have been members of the St. Louis Club for a number of years. Bruce joined the leadership group last year as a member of the scholarship committee where he helped to evaluate the scholarship applications, participated in the interviews, and represented OSU at some of the area college fairs. Bruce is a 1950 Journalism graduate. During his senior year at OSU, Bruce was sports editor of the Lantern following football, basketball, and golf. He covered the January 1st Rose Bowl victory over California. Until he retired, Bruce and Shirley owned Witwer & Associates, a company specializing in training and motivation. Bruce earned the title of CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) from the National Speaker's Association. He served as a combat infantryman in the Korean War.
